Today the Moon in Aries conjuncts Chiron in Aries at 5:27 pm PST. This is a sensitive and emotive transit. The Moon represents our personal needs, our unconscious, feelings, maternal parent and intuition. Chiron rules our unresolvable wounds, childhood scars, our biggest vulnerabilities/strengths, insecurities, and our spiritual gifts. When these energies are combined we are compelled to look at our core and examine our deep wounds in pursuit of self-understanding and healing. You could be examining your relationship to your maternal parent and any intergenerational wounds they passed down to you. Today our emotions are big and in need of attention so be patient with yourself. Luckily this transit increases our awareness of our emotional needs and helps us carefully tend to them. With both of these sky objects in Aries there can be a passionate, eager, and courageous quality to these energies.
I asked my Guides what insight would help us navigate this transit. I pulled the Fool. On this card we see Xander walking through a graveyard during the day carrying a morning star mace about to step into an open grave. After confronting your deep wounds and feeding those wounds honey you can start anew. There is an opportunity for a fresh start. Not a start that erases your past and its influences on you, but one where your past propels you forward to the next right thing. For this to happen death must occur, death of ego, death of fear, death of pain or death of something. It is worth the risk of suffering to confront and heal your wounds. And where there is pain there is also light. Maybe you were told as a child you were stupid and the only thing valuable about you was your looks. Now as an adult you can see how abusive and mean that was and recognize your own intelligence. Because you experienced this pain you can recognize it in children and encourage them to see their own intelligence. Your greatest wound became your gift. Today is a day of emotional transformation, take the plunge.
